Like the picture, interesting look for a koi fish.

Though the scales don't match with the volume of the head, looks flat. Maybe next time you should try drawing the scales (or anything with texture) wrapping around the same square shape as the head.

xcolours responds:

thanks, and i didnt notice it before, but your right, thank you for the tip :D

Can I use your fractal art for personal use for my art? :)

Shikhs responds:

sure ill give you the pngs too if you require :)

Reminds me of a wonky 3d lizard with lizard skin texture plaster all over it.

Though I personally think the silhouetted arm could be defined a bit more, I still can't help but love the scales stretch about on the lizard's skin which distracts me from look at that.

TurkeyOnAStick responds:

Thanks Zane. I understand where you're coming from with the arm silhouette - I don't want to say it was an experiment, but it's "something I was trying out" (the viewer can see the front arm, so they could fill in the blanks on the rear). I'll make a blurry version next time.

I don't think the lizard is wonky, though, so you're gonna have to get back to me on that.

You always draw the prettiest of faces :3

SmokeryDots responds:

:P Thanks

I like the way how the texture on her clothes align well with her body. The colors are nice, though I feel that the clothes pop more then the face (the face feel a bit blur).

Blud-Shot responds:

ah you're right the blurriness of the face bothers me, i'll try to update the image by sharpening the features a little more.

I think it would of still be better if you went through edit the image and reuploaded it through that and then after finishing the upload, hold ctrl+ r to clear the cache.

I enjoy the faint warm light source that is revealing the true color of the fur but the splat on the tie isn't really appealing much (maybe revealing a little outline of the tie would make me forgive the splat or removing the splat entirely on the tie). Though I can tell you speed paint on this one.

JoshSummana responds:

Yeah the splat was just experimenting on creating focal points with colour and messing around with displacement (hence some of the random gestural marks). Warm vs cool and all that. Although I am still learning lol. I didn't outline it just because it was a mess around :P . Only spent just over an hour on it. Cheers :)

Holy mother of epic chili pot sauce, that's awesome!

I love how JohnnyUtah and his friend there is in the pic.

sucho responds:

i love how i'll probably get told off for including them in it

Oh that's nice. I wonder what were you trying to do new here. :3

Btw when you edit an image, then reupload it with changes and it goes through. It'll take a long while to actually change it for some reason. but it'll actually go through I think. May have to wait for hours though.

JoshSummana responds:

I went in with a big blob of black and just literally tried to get a cool sillouette :) ... I dont usually do that but I liked the method so I may try the same on the next one :).

yeah I know .... it just didnt do it and I got para lol

Very Menacing, I like it!

I feel as though the robot is on top of the background instead of in it though (mostly the front paws, the back row paws look fine thanks to the blur). This may be fix if the mountain and land can overlap a little of the robot's paw or the color of robot (preferably the leg area) is slightly more closer with the background color or the background color (the footing area) is more influence by the robot.

Btw I think the link isn't working (ven when I remove 3 spaces)

I really love the amount of detail you put in it :D

Trunchbull responds:

When you're that big, everything seems to just fall underneath you. :D

Try that!

I love how detail you went through with the objects even though there are 2 things that bother me. Everything is too sharp, not a big problem but it tends to get my eyes off from the main focus, the wood board back end need to be soften or blurred a little. The second being there is no shadows, the things that does look kind of like shadow isn't strong enough.

What I do really like though is the realistic detail on plastic shave blade holder and its design and I also like the wooden ornament thing that holds the hair bristle :)

Luwano responds:

Yeah I should have paid more attention to the shadow and basically to the proper composition of lights and darks. Thanks for the review and the pointer about the sharpness / focus.
