vLike Kinsei say

cause humor can brightened up an art's quality. The color mood is not entirely fitting for most things that are there, the sky is night and sparkles many star so most surroundings of the art suppose to be dark in the bluish side. The light flare at the background where the city is isn't giving much impact on how festive a city it appear to be in which doesn't appear to affect the characters and the tree.

You could make an excuse on the foreground being bright if there were signs of high beaming streetlights from somewhere above.

It is what the title say it is

Simple and stylistic is all I have to say but the thick borderline over the bird itself feels like it's better off not there.

lol awesome

I just notice, do you have really short hair? Thanks for taking in my request twisty, the pickle-zilla looks very menacing :3 Plus you got yourself a niiiiiice set up, junk food at the left while coffee at the right, Fancy indeed ;D

What J-qb said

but with extra foams :3

We have the technology!...we can make it...

This concept of an flying beer would be a break through for all beers. I like how it even looks symmetrical!

Stylish Drunk

Truly a drunkard's illusion to be drunk and drunk and stuff. I got to say though, the color beer and other thing in the background is very distraction on the overall look of the image.

bloop bloop

That fish will be forever be an alcoholic. I like how the fish is gasping up and how we can see for it with those bubbles surrounding it.

glad you like!

Very Stylish

I definitely feel a connection in a Legend of Zelda design going on here, the bow could need a minor shadow though. Keep the good art rolling :D

Out of the 4 of your piece

this one is the only one that isn't a logo and photo manipulation of a picture.

You put good use on that stink steam that is coming out of the bug but the bug itself lacks things.

I can already see from zooming in that you must of use the soft brush to draw the majority of the picture, I can tell you now this won't give your image any sense of sharpness on the left side of the image "which is the bug face" (which also stands out).

The right of the image where the smoke is coming and the slime at the bottom is alright, it gives the image some sense of depth.

The left side (where the bug face is) is where you need work on, which also let me guess some of the tool you used that isn't giving your image justice.

It lack the entirety of the bug feel, my advice is looking through google image to find a good bug to refer to for ideas on the texture of the bug.

I recommend practice on hard brushes instead of soft brushes first. A hard brush allow contrast to be sharp while a soft brush allow a lack of focus on an area you soft brush (which gives a blurry look that is often abused to a point on being unbearable).

You were doing good at putting up a light source, but you stray off the mark by not giving shadows below the bug and not giving a direction of the light source in the background.

My advice is knowing the basics of art;

then practice what you can do on paper being the same on how you draw on a computer;

and lastly is to observe (I could of said practice but it wouldn't help if you don't know what to practice "ON");

so go to youtube to observe speedpaints, go zoom in on arts to see the details (this can help out on knowing how things are done), and lastly lastly come over to the newgrounds art forum (the art regs can give critique or advice or answer questions you need help on).

Just remember to keep all your art in your own thread that you have to create and to use the image upload button for every drawings that you are showcasing :P

Wow... This is the most helpful review I've ever got from anyone!!

Thanks man... As you can see I've never assisted to any kind of art class or school. This is all just... you know messing arround.

I just like drawing and making music. But I don't know shit about either one of those things haha.

By the way. That thing is not slime, it's like some kind of membrane... you know to slide or something. Yeah... it kind of sucks hahaha I'll try to get better, thanks for the review man.

a little blend

Th face could use a little blending, not a whole lot, but a good little. The contrast between all the skin color on his face gave him a wrinklier or pruned look on him. This being your first digital portrait though is pretty damn impressive :D
