Interesting use of texture for the coat even though the sense of sharpness at the bottom border of the neck doesn't appeal well with it. Maybe applying some lines could fix the transition.

I already can tell that this feels more like a speed paint to try a painting trick. My against in this speedy is that the coat's brighter shade with the texture isn't fitting.

Nice, I'm liking this overlord, looking good as a enemy design if it was for a colorful paint-like video game. Even though the effects behind him is fancy and all, it would be nice if you painted that in yourself flowing through a similar manner. It would look much more in sync in your hands :)

Nice use of the city photo and other textures.
I can only guess if the city is a miniature replica, a hazy hologram, or that the room is a cloud making room and it's above the city.
If it was a miniature city, then the cloud/gas pattern being behind the city would make sense.
If this was an aircraft above the city, then the close up part of the buildings on the left wouldn't make much sense.

It is a city within an airspace. A little confusing I know. Lol. But it's a concept design for an animation we were doing.

I'm going to say right off the bat that his head looks kind of long, dunno if it's part of batman's mask design where there is a grid sphere hat on his head but that how I see it.
I also notice a snow-like background even though batman is dripping wet, doesn't bother me as much but it doesn't seem to fit.

Now overall this would make an awesome batman poster, I love how the costume feels like rubber and how it's torn too. The hard grid layer beneath the rubber layer oh his mask is a nice touch too but it's not practical as a quick slip on mask.

My fault for choosing such an akward angle. I even tried looking up some reference pics but it still looks weird. About the dripping wet part, I guess it's just a matter of taste because it is possible to have both snow and some droplets of water in your pic. Thanks for giving your opinion, much appreciated :)

I'm loving the warm fall season mood/scenery and how the art is already telling a story just by looking at it. I'm not particularly fond with the shading on Aija's left arm but oh well, you really out did yourself here.

AlvinHew responds:

Thanks, man. I edited it a bit, maybe it looks better now?

Pretty cool speedpaint, even though I'm not sure about the lighting of the face, there really nothing much to complain about.

I'm liking the designs, and the color one even feels 3d-ish. The only thing I feel that is off is the color one's back wing

Very Atmospheric

The pic served its purpose on how wide the mountains are and how huge the dragons are but the pic lack only about extra bits. Maybe added details for the foreground cliff (like rocks and stuff). The shadow you given to the mountains isn't really enough to give it its mountain-like formation, maybe looking up some mountain reference and following its flow will help. Overall it's a good spacey pic.

J-qb responds:

the mountains were actually loosely referenced, but yeah I could/should have worked a bit more on the foreground plateau, thanks.

Thick lines

If you were for lines only maybe thicker lines around the dragon would of made it pop better for us to see. Oh and of course that one thick line on its right wing be sticking out like a stick.

Snapping turtle doves,

love how they fit that nature. Besides how the blue outline around the top text made it feels like it erase off the wings of the turtle doves, the image overall is fantastic :D
